this is one of the first pieces i got a few years ago. when i originally got it there where about 5 polyps. for a while it had another rock on top of it and was totally buried. while moving my tank and upgrading i noticed they where still there just closed up tight. a year later and they spread like crazy and have an awesome green colored center. i know they are just button polyps but i like the way they glow.

I like button polyps too. They look and react well in medium to high current. Nice pic too. Do you ever feed them?

yeah they eat whatever i feed my lps. mysis, brine, cyclopeeze, squid, anything they can catch even an occassional pellet.

I would have never thought three years ago that i would still have this piece and that it would turn out nice like this. sometimes i definately take the simple stuff in this hobby for granted.
