Angler companions??

Can I get some suggestions as to what type of inverts I could place in my nano tank with my angler fish?

Any other things I could put in the tank with the angler...I have some zoos, plate coral, and xenia now.

Snails, hermit crabs, and starfish should be fine

I have read stories of anglers eating hermits and snails and then dying. Any truth to this?

Well I think I would rather have him eat crabs for dinner than fish. That's just my personal opinion :)

Mine never showed any interest at all in trying to eat snails or hermits and I've never heard of one that has...but you can never totally generalize any species of fish and I'm sure it's happened before.
