Geo Kalkwasser reactor

Salty Critter,

I saw you guys carry this product, can you give me some thoughts, there's not really many Kalk reactors out there to choose from.

I was anticipating about a gallon/per day of evaporation from my open topped tank, its really dry, low hummidity out here in Montana, so I thought automatically replenishing my sump level via a kalk reactor might be ideal.

Any thoughts appriciated, MGB

I agree. Replenshing your sump with Kalkwasser via a Reactor is ideal. You can do it manually but a Kalk Reactor really simplfies things and makes things much easier. The GEO Kalk Reactor is the best one I have used. It is made of quality material, is easier to service and comes with a relialble Maxijet pump.

You would also need a device to automatically top off your sump. Auto top off systems and dosing pumps are common choices.

I have a GEO Kalk Reactor and love it, high quality and very effective. Mine is fed with a LiterMeter. I can also vouch for Salty Critter...top notch vendor.

I also have the Geo Kalk reactor fed by a Tunze ATO. Works great and very well made. When it comes time to refill just drain a little off by the valve, unscrew the cap and pour more Kalk in. Vet easy to set up and use.
