You can probably just peel it off and stick a toothpick through it. Once you do that use a rubberband to lightly hold it to the rock by wrapping it around the toothpick. After a few days it will attach to the rock and you're all set. If you can't peel it just cut it off at the base and do the same thing.

They're pretty hardy, I wouldn't worry about it too much especially considering how well you acclimated it. Give it a few more days before you start worrying.

in my experience it is hard to make a xenia die from too much light put it where you would put a monti cap

I'd let it recover from the move before any fragging attempts.

yes let it grow onto something else then use a fresh razor blade to remove the xenia dont try and rip it from the rock untill it is healthy

No argument here. That's pretty sound advice.

My first xenia came home and looked like it was fried after a day in my tank. After a couple weeks it started pulsing regularly, I imagine it just need adjusting to my lighting.

I would not remove it from its base, just place it on the rock, It will grow runners to attach to the surounding or you can put some rubble or large shells around it, the new runners will attach to them then you can resettle.
