New 170 Gal Reef

Hi,
I'm about to start my plumbing. I have 2 overflow boxes. Should I send one to the sump / refugium and 1 closed loop for additional circulation to eliminate power heads (thinking of oceans motions 4 way) Any input is appreciated

Does your tank have other holes for the CL outputs or are you going to use plumbing over the tank for the CL? In my opinion, with a 170 gal tank I would use both overflows to go to the sump/refug, and then if possible drill the tank for a CL.

The overflows each have 1 in 1 out so nothing goes over the top.
