I am trying to get a good aquascaping idea for my new sps tank and what better way than to have a single thread with all RC member tanks. If you have a pic post it up!

This could get good!

Here's my 75g, nothing special just a kickoff!

Posting pics of bleached corals........not good.

I assume your helpful comment was directed at my pictures. I agree a couple of the shots I posted are of recovering corals that bleached due to an accident that caused heavy direct flow on an area of corals. The corals are however recovering nicely and the polyp extention is strong and they are regaining health. I know my tank has a ways to go to achieve the success I eventually want to have and I use this forum as a resource to hopefully achieve that.

My hope is that help from other hobbyists can help me improve things through information sharing.

My feeling is that unhelpful comments directed in a picture thread ( that I was happy to share my tank in ) is....well.......not good. :)

More pic's please. :D

I plan on running 2x400w 14k on electronic ballast in Lumen Max 2 reflectors. If I don't like the coverage I will get another light for the middle, but we'll see. I don't have it up yet, but getting there soon.

Great minds think alike :D I've been planning this tank for well over 3 years. I just now settled into a permanent residence and got a job that pays well enough to support it, so I'm diving headfirst into it.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for the kind words, at the time the pic was taken the tank was lit with 2 x 400w BLV's 2 x 54w T5 blues.
2 over the top CL Ehiem 1260's, 2 x MJ1200, 1262 return, Deltec TS1060 skimmer, JS1 reactor.
Since then all the big stags have been relocated to a friends 300g tank.
I'll be setting up a 150g stag-dominated tank (hopefully) this year.:)

Very Nice concept I like the aquascaping! Do you worry about your glass getting broken w/o starboard?

thanks!

About the Starboard worry-not really, I've had plenty tanks, all with no starboard. Most tanks have a tempered bottom, so unless you drop a decent sized rock on the bottom with no water, you should be OK. I've had rocks slip from my hands but under water, and no damages.

Man, I've never seen a tank suck so bad. It's a wonder how you even get it to look that terrible. Good luck in the future.

SunnyX , your yank is still looking awesome !!!!!!!!!!!

Are you using DSB or BB in your main display ???? I read the tank of the month, but I´m in doubt about that. Also do you have a refugium ?

Congratulations !!!!
