Hi Everyone,
I was hoping to get some advice on a lighting upgrade. I have a tall 65 gal 36X18X24. I currently have a Current SunPod 2X150. I would like to get more SPS and think maybe 2 X 250 or 1X 250 would work better for me, the tank does have a center brace. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I really don't have room and, I don't want to build a canopy so I would like an all in one fixture if possible. Thanks,
Tim

There are some T5 Tek fixtures you might check into. Helolights and premium aquatics come to mind or check the sponsor forums.

how would a 36" 6 bub tek fixture compare to 2X250 MH.

not as bright but could be set up to give you nice growth and color
check out the aquatinics less bulbs but they run cooler and put out more par
i have 2x250 over my 50g so 2x250 wont be too much for you we have the same tank yours is just 6 inches deeper
