clown goby safe with plate coral and polyps???

i want to get a clown goby for my 14 gallon reef tank to clean the sand.. i dont know if it cleans sand like other gobies... anyone know what clown gobies do??

Clown gobies are lazy. They sit in coral or coral heads all day long.
Here's mine. He hops around in my colt all day long. Comes out for food.
They arent sand sifters.
