My Calcium is testing at 520, ALK at 6.7. I know the CA is high, not sure what is proper for ALK. I currently dose Seachem Reef Advantage Calcium and Reef Buffer every other day. Sounds like I need to scale back on the CA, but will this not have an effect on my ALK? Is that high a CA a bad thing?

yes, I'd stop dosing the calcium until it comes down. It is not a big problem, but I'd work to fix it by letting it drop. it will not impact alkalinity to let calcium fall. Just keep dosing alkalinity as necessary.
I'd also suggest switching to a balanced calcium and alkalitnuy additive method, such as limewater, a two part additive, or a CaCO3/CO2 reactor to prevent this problem.
