I am thinking of getting an adult Atlantic Blue Tang. My tank is a 125g and the only other tang in the tank right now is a Blonde Naso. what are your thoughts and experiances with the Atlantic Blue Tang?

They are stunning and graceful. A 125 is on the smaller side for housing one but if you plan to upgrade there should be no problem.

MEAN.... mean....MEAN.... mean... MEAN.... mean.... etc
I had one in my 240g who killed a Naso that was 3-4 inches longer then the blue tang. He just beat the crap out of him.... reminded me of a mean trigger actually. Everything was fine for a few years then SNAP.... game over.
So I then moved to a 260g tank & added a LOT of rock as well as a blond naso, naso, 10 in emperor (orange tail), sohal tang & a queen angel. The only one that survived the wrath of the atl blue tang is the queen & he BARELY made it!!!!
I yanked the blue tank before the naso's & emperor were dead but the damage was already done. The blue tang was then taken to the lfs where he was put in with some agressive fish. He cornered & beat the crap out of a fuscus trigger that was probably 2 in smaller then the tang. He was then put in a tank at a resteraunt with some large groupers & I forget what else & some pretty dramatic fights occured.... at least that's what I was told so back to the LFS. Where he resides with a few other troublemakers.......
They are really cool fish with awesome color & VERY hardy!!! When they get large their attitude from my experience is worse then most triggers.
I would get something else! My guess is the atl blue tangs need 500g+ to hopefully keep their attitude in check
