I just did some work on a DIY refugium addition of a trash can refuge. All I want to know is that I just put primer and pvc cement on the plumbing, how long does it take for that stuff to dry before I can attach it to my system?
I dont want my fishies to die! :(

You should be fine after 15-20 minutes. If you are concerned wait an hour or so and rinse with water. Running carbon will help also. Most of us glue and go. How big is the tank?

Yeah, I have apprenticed for a few installs, and they usually just glue and go, but thats usually when they just set up the tank. I wasnt sure because, this is already an established tank, I dont want to mess things up.
Its only a 50 gallon tank.

Glue and go- I built a whole new return line and modified my downpipe let it set up, rinsed with r/o and hooked it back up. You really don't even have to rinse, you'll notice that the cement solidifies upon contact with water.
