I have a 12 gallon nanocube dx with an N. wennerae mantis and a yellow coris wrasse.
Alright, when you first set up the tank, I know you get the lovely algae cycles, (the cyano, the diatoms, the green aglae, all that good stuff) and it seems to be happening again in my tank again, after 10 months.
The cyano was HORRIBLE for the part few months, and finally, the day I was preparing to dose it with Red Slime remover, I realized it may now be mostly diatoms with a little cyano mixed in. My tank seems to be going through that whole cycle again. Can anyone tell what is going on from these pictures?

I am new to the hobby myself but was having an algae problem the first couple of months. I did about a 25% water change and it cleared right up. Have you tried that?

Yes, I have tried every possible thing for the cyano, when I had only it in big thick sheets. I even changed who I bought water from, but no dice
