View Full Version : mount broken on nano stream 6025

my nano stream keept falling off the mount and today i realized why there are 4 pegs in 4 corners to go into the magnet and 2 on the bottom are completly missing...im not sure if the fell off but the nano stream is maby 4 months old and only in the tank about 2 weeks is there anyway i could get the part that gose around the ball part of the stream and then to the magnet or do i have to send you the full stream...iv also got some pics the best i could

Mine broke also from wear and tear. I super glued the bracket to the magnet since there is no reason for these 2 to be separated anyway.

I would be happy to send a replacement. We found that the cause was the mold being too hot and it actually turned our high dollar Lexan into charcoal so it was very brittle. The part is made from virgin GE Lexan and despite the fragile appearance should be plenty strong.

Do you mind sending 1 to me too. My 3 months old 6045 mount broke exactly the same way. I have placed an order on tunze.com along with some other parts as well.

You would need to contact Phil in Canada, he is your distributor. I only handle the US market.

got the part today but when i turned the pump back on(its been off since the 23ed) the pump is rattling now will this go away or should i let it run for a little then turn it off or what

Is it just rattling on start up? You might check that it hasn't been gummed up from sitting around.

rattling the hole time it was on i just shut it off and im gana take the guard on it looks like theres something in it

sorry for the delay i took the pump apart and noticed that the metal inside shaft had a peice of gunk on it witch caused it rock back and fourth slighty durring rotation so i ceaned it off with a paper towel and all is good now thanks for the support

I can only YEARN for. Needless to say, I did not get a replacement for my 6045 mount, I didn't even get the parts I actually placed an order for. Placed the order on Jan 21st, 2007.

BTW, the Canadian rep told me to go back to the place I bought it and ask for support from the store... THANKS alot.

Like I said... YOUR support for the US markets make customer like myself in Canada SO Jealous. If we could only have 2 of Rogers in this world.... 1 in Canada.

PS: I have not further my inquery into my order back in Januray... It's in the BLACK HOLE... Giving up on Canada. I am moving to US.

I am sorry for the problems. If you don't get a resolution I would be happy to ship you the parts but the problem is the shipping to Canada is high and you may have tariffs, even if the parts are free.

I think I'll go with the Glue idea on this broken 6045 mount.

Nice to know you can help. In the future, I will probably eat the higher shipping and the tarrif if it's something I can't fix. expecially the more expensive parts.

Getting support in Canada is pretty pathetic. Just kinda sad that I can't order parts on the web from Tunze.com... because all Canadian orders are forwarded to Canada and we all know where it goes from there... the Black Hole.

Well at least I have not seen any charges on my credit card yet.

I am a big fan of Tunze... own 9020, 6000, wavebox, 9015, 6045, dozens of magnets, single/multi controllers... man, I need a second job or a rich wife to keep this up.
