Coppersafe is probably one of the harshest to use on the fish. It's also challenging to keep the copper level consistent. One of my least favorite. If maintained correctly for 2 weeks, the copper will effectively destroy the free swimming stages of the parasite.

Since this must be used in a QT, a much better option is hyposalinity. Copper is a poison and depending on the fish species not always tolerated very well. If you know your treating Cryptocaryon irritans, use hyposalinity...

If copper is required, use Cupramine by Seachem. It's one of the most tolerated stable coppers you can get.

Seachem cupramine with the salifert test kit are what I use and recommend.

I second Cupramine. I used Coppersafe in the past and didn't like it. Also, Cupramine is also tolerated by even copper sensitive fish such as multicolor angels. BUT, don't use Seachem's copper test kit. They have issues with it.
