I have been feeding omega one with garlic, small pellets, now for about 5 months, and the only fish that really seems to go for it is the yellow tang, there is a coral beauty and a percula clownfish in there, is there another food that might work better

That thread has a lot of ideas for feeding both fish and corals.

For the tang, I'd probably consider Formula 2 and an algae clip.

Have you tried any frozen food yet?

As for the algae clip issue you can try using your mag float(glass cleaner) to hold it as well. That works well for me. You could try mysid shrimp or even some pieces of lettuce and broccoli for the tang. I agree with the Ocean Nutrition formula 2 as well.

Shut the skimmer off for an hour or so after feeding. Many peoples (including one of mine) skimmers gos nuts when feeding and shutting it off is the solution. Your fish will love you for it.

There is MUCH more then just frozen brine shrimp ;) For pellets I use Formula Two small pellets. All of my fish really like it.
