My downflow is factory done, center back bowed-front, not too much room, but I think I could fit a 1200 maxijet in there, run a pipe up and over the double wall to discharge.
Current pump is a mag 9.5 in the sump, which is a tiny sump in the confines of a 52g corner stand. Not much room down there, even worse problems trying to get a stable hose configuration from another pump up to the display. Hence the thought of using a maxijet out of the downflow and right back to the tank to increase flow.
