How can you reduce bio-load?

by reducing the number of fish
Fish=Bioload

corals do as well but not nearly so much... you can also compensate by doing larger and more frequent water changes

I know about the fish... but, other than water changes... that's it?

Reduce how much you feed?
Im not sure if that would help, but food +fish= waste

Yep, pretty much it. Bio load is simply the amount of stress all the biological life puts on the system as a whole.

Although corals do put some bio-load on the system, they pale in comparison to the stress that fish put on the system.

Some fish are worse than others due to sloppy eating habits (an Eels and other aggressive species tend to be more of an issue)

You can also add a sump to help with loads (more room for liverock/sand/water etc). The load does not drop, the ability to deal with it just goes up.
