I have a 30" 2x65 (130 watt) Current-USA Orbit CF on a 20L. Bulbs are new 2x10K and 2x460 actinic. The tank is only 12 inches deep and light fixture sits about 3 inches above the tank rail using the standard mounts.

To be really honest, it's pretty bright. I have quite a few softys in the tank and they are doing well, but I am wondering how much light this really provides and if I was to upgrade, what I would upgrade to. Where would you go to upgrade the lighting?

You should be able to grow just about any soft coral, most LPS, and some SPS. The SPS growth rate will be slow though, and I advise against it, but it is possible. In all honesty, it's not too bright, but it's not half bad either. What are you looking to grow in your tank, and then you will know if you need to upgrade at a later date.

I am kicking around adding some LPS and maybe an SPS piece or two.

I'd like to drop in a Frogspawn and maybe a brain and/or a plate. If I were to add any SPS it would be a Stylophora or maybe an Acropora.
