I don't want to have all the filtration matter in back of my 24 gallon aquapod. I just want the natural biological filtration to kick in and just let the water flow. however I was thinking that I might want something to screen some debris away. like the white stuff and let the water flow through it and let it catch some stuff. but I don't know how to go about the modification. What kind of filtration is everyone running in there aquapods?

I am running the ceramic rings, the sponge filter, and a bag of purigen. I run a small bag of carbon to help with the water polishing on occasion. I have seen no problems with mine. Its been up for over a year now and all is good.
If you want to go with bio filtration, then I would throw some LR rubble in the chamber and call it a day. You could still run some sponge material or filter floss on occasion to help trap debris. Good Luck Jon
