I have a 210 with 3x250 HQIs. I recently upgraded from 150's, but I haven't upgraded my 1/3hp chiller yet. I am thinking of placing a 1hp 220v chiller outside my house, the operating temps would be between 40-90 (winter-summer, etc.). Does anyone have any specific chiller recommendations and/or installers in the Tampa Bay Area (Florida)?

I bought the Prime Modular 1/3 hp dual stage chiller last summer and so far I'm very happy with it.

I did install this outside my house on my patio about 11' away

Can't help with the installers.

That's exactly what I have!

What type of lights do you run? What kind of temperatures does the chiller see?

I have 3x250 watt mh and 4x160 watt VHO.
I also use 3 Poseidon pumps. 2- P4 and a P-2.
The chiller does come on and off during the day. I have never timed it.
The temp in the morning is usually about 79.1 and the highest I've ever seen the temp was about 81.5.
A couple times the temp has been a little lower in the morning after a really cold night. Even if the chiller isn't running, the water is still being circulated to the chiller outside and causing a small temp drop.

Do you have any prevention for evaporation? I use glass tops.

I use a JBJ Auto Top off unit.
