Nice P. Russells
shes a beauty & a baby, just wait 6-8 months from now. If you going to add tankmates I would consider adding them while the lion is small, else you'll be adding large fish, and that 75 willlook awefully small.
you had a chance to read the lionfish info sheet? http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2002-11/

I am going to leave just the lion in the tank.Lot more like a pet with just one fish and i figure she will fill up the tank by herself.
Oh how can i tell if it is a male or female or can i tell?
THANKS lots!!!!!!!!!

Make him perch to hang upside down vertically or horizontally, rock or plastic - don't matter, and a couple of caves to hide. Mine also appreciated the blood shrimp companion for a cleaning - there could be inside throat emergencies, and this shrimp helped. Shrimp was not eathen by lions, 11 months already.
Good, that volitan accepted the dead prey - will be healthier diet now.

Him, her - who cares, beautiful fish. As long as the potential mate will not be added to the tank, all will be OK. Not enough space for both, and with fish without clear sex differences it could be risky - two males may have problems. I had carefully chosen by several people female mandarin (clear sex differences), and later appeared that it's adolescent male. Had to set another tank for it; same was with the scooter.

Tks for the input guys!!!!
He is alone in a 75Gal and i will not be putting any tank mates(just the sandstar).I like the 1 large fish in a tank it is more like a pet to me.
