I have decided I want to keep a pair of Domino Damsel.

Can you sex them?

No need to sex them. Buy them both small and the more dominant one will become the female. You should know that dominos are very aggressive fish and unless you're keeping them with a fish that is more aggressive like a large angel or one that dominos will naturally leave alone like a lionfish they will harass any other fish in the tank. I have also read that they lose their intense black color and their spots.
I used to keep a pair with a volitans lionfish and it worked out very well. Mine never got over 3" for the female and 2" for the male. And they never turned dull black or lost their spots either. But then I only had them for about 3 years so....
HTH :D

What size tank do you have? It will be hard to keep 2 in a small tank unless you know they are male or female when you buy them. If you get 2 males or females it will be a real blood bath. If you have a large tank maybe a 90g or bigger you might be able to add a big one and small one and give it time. I keep 3 damsels myself in a 50g and have had just about all of them in the past. They have to be housed with aggresive fish only or they will torment docile species(fairy wrasses, firefish, basslets)
