Here is a picture of our tank today. Tomorrow am planning on adding the last 3 pieces (approx. 30#) This is a 45 gal. tank. I believe there is already 70#. (Dripping wet when weighed, moved from another tank to this one.)

I am trying to hide as much equipment as possible.
Thanks

I dont think you can have too much as long as your fish have enough room to swim around.Use your best judgement on that as I dont know whats in the tank.

Couldn't see the pics either. Should be fine though. Just remember when adding more rock you are taking water out.

The only time when it's too much is when you have for instance a 150 gallon tank full of rocks and 10 tangs. Barely any swimming room!

Well you need to leave room for some water. :D
Lot's of people use 2 even 3 lbs/gal.

Depnds on what you want to keep, but 50% of your tank should be swimming space.

The picture worked for me and wow! Outstanding aquascaping, my friend!! That is an absolutely beautiful tank and i wish you the best!
Can't see the pic but imho most tanks have too much live rock. If you don't overstock your tank you don't need a box of rocks as a reef tank.

PICS DONT WORK,
I ONLY USED 1LBS PER GAL. SO I WOULD HAVE PLENTY OF SWIMING SPACE AND ALSO ENOUGH ROOM SO I WOULD ALWAYS BE ABLE TO ADD CORALS AT WILL DOWN THE ROAD,
