24 Aquapod or 29 Biocube ???

I've decided on one of the two until I can move out into my new house and start a larger tank.. Soo in the mean time I've narrowed it down to one of these two, soooo.. I want some opinions..
Will be keeping softies and LPS
just a few fish..
Aquapod 24 gallon
Biocube 29 gallon
Which one and why?

I noticed the aquapod 24 with 70w hqi is on sale for 279 at doctor foster and smith.. I was thinking of getting that, but I need a top for a blue spot jawfish, and ideas?

Maybe some eggcrate (called light diffuser at Home Depot) or have a local company cut a piece of acrylic to fit it.
