I am currently using 250w xm 10k and my frogspawn looks brown under it. in a tank that used 20k, the coral looked as it should, green with pruple tips. I this what it is supposed to look like under the xm or is there something wrong?

The coral might have turned brown for a number of reasons, including the change in lighting. I suspect that if you put it under the 20,000 K bulbs right now, it'd still look brown.

Hey Skriz I ran xm 10k and now 20 k and experinece the exact same scenario. All my parameters are the same I suspect is he lighting arrangement and kelvins also.

If it has changed colors, what can I do to change it back?

Well, if the lighting is the issue, changing it back is one approach. Coloration can change for a number of reasons, though. High nutrients can make corals turn brown, for example.
