I will be buying a fixture for my 40 breeder sps tank. After thinking about getting a MH/T5 combo, I am now thinking about a T5 only fixture.
What is the best one out there?
What is the best value for the money?
What would you get?

aquatinics is a lil better than tek lower heat but the best are the new ones that aquaruim obsessed has from stigfoli and the ati units
i would go with a tek or aquatinics best for the price
i think your making a good decision on the t5

So, I have it narrowed down to the Aquatinics, ATI, or Fauna Marine. Assuming that a 4 x 39 is enough for a 40 breeder.
Aquatinics -
about $446 with lights and hanging kit or riser bracket
it has 5 bulbs = more color choice
uses non-t5 spec ballast
Fauna Marine ULTRA SOLARIS -
$439 with bulbs included
only has 4 bulbs - less energy but is it enough light?
better ballasts and reflectors
has a retro or less finished look
ATI -
$419 preorder price - bulbs included if preorder
only has 4 bulbs - less energy but is it enough light?
better ballasts and reflectors
looks good
will not be ready until the end of the month or early next month
I hate deciding. I do not need anything right away but will be ready for LR this week or early next week. I am thinking about buying cured LR just for the fact that I can get it in any amount I want and shipping is included at a great price at reefermadness. Will my cured LR be ok with out good lights for a month?
What would you choose?
