DIY Sump/Fuge Ideas needed

A friend of mine is getting a 180g RR tank, but needs a few ideas on how to make the best sump/fuge setup without having to buy a new sump. If anyone has pics of their sump/fuge setup, plz post some pics. Also, if anyone knows a website that you think would be helpful, go ahead and post it.

Mine is far from perfect, but I haven't had any 'fatal' flaws pointed out to me yet.
