Warming???

The recent 'cold' snap here in Florida surfaced that fact that my 50watt glass heater isn't enough with the 102% water addition from my new sump. So anyway, the new 200watt titainum heater is going to be here tommorrow and I wanted to know if I should bring the water temp back up slowly (acclimation-style), or as quickly as possible? It gets down to 73 at night and up to 76 during the day right now.

It's usually rock solid at 79°- 80°, but since Sunday, it's dropped.

Do it very slowly over the course of a few hours. Rapid temp changes will be more stressful to the inhabitants than the low temps themselves. Crank up the heat in the house to raise the ambient temp. Will help some.
