Can someone recommend media for a two stage reactor that I just purchased requiring 18lbs of media? Crushed aragonite?

Carib-Sea ARM Media. Can be found at marinedepot.com

They also offer a coarse type media as well but it is tough to find.

I wash it thoroughly before placing in the reactor.

Thanks,
Ron

Beware of the media you are running, ARM melts easier and requires less .....CO2 , KNOP, Korallith, Gen-X, Schuran will require more CO2 and this will drop your PH. My dual chamber reactor has a bubble every 3/4 a second, to lower my Korallith media PH to such a low PH as to get the desired KH out of the second chamber of 28. KH or carbonate hardenss is what will determine how much CO2 you will put into the reactor. You can put GenX or some other media in the first chamber, and then put ARM in the second chamber. This will allow you you to run a lower PH in the first chamber to melt Gen-X or similar media, but when it runs to the second chamber the ARM will still melt even though he PH has risen. This will make your reactor more effiecient.
