i have one of the older pm skimmers (pretty sure it is the 626 model), that has 2 h2O inputs on it. right now i have the top one capped off, but want to make use of it. I am thinking i should t off the input line and run it through a ball valve up to the second input, adjusting the ball valve as needed. My question it, since it is a venturi skimmer, should i put a venturi on both inputs or just the lower one? also on the top input, should i add a pvc piece to make the water spin the opposite direction as the lower input, make the water go at a 45 degree downward angle in the same or opposite direction, or just have it push water straigh in at the same direction as the bottom. if you have any suggestions on what would work best let me know.
i am thinking i should have just one venturi on the bottom, and have the top input run opposite and at a downward angle to the bottom input, as this seems like it would give the most contact time for the bubbles. does this sound right? just want to get the most out of the skimmer.
