I just get a SEIO 2600 and was installed last night in my 180 gal reef tank, but I'm wondering why is the venturi thing in there? also I don't see a big flow coming out of this and lastly can I put this on a timer to tun it off at night? or should I leave it working 24/7

Did you take off all of the covers and boxes that the Seios initially come covered in? I even removed the adjuster sleeve on mine to get more flow out of them.
