What type of fish is this .. LFS gave me the wrong name .... PICTURE

This his looks kind of like a yellow tang but he is not LFS said he was a Philippine yellow tang and that he would get along with everyone.

Before i put him in the tang i came home just to double check that he would be ok with everyone but i cant find anything called a Philippine tang .... so what is he please help

he is still in the bag and i dont want to leave him in there much longer ....!!!!! because of this it was hard to get a good pic

It's not a yellow tang, but it's quite a beautiful fish.

It's hard for me to tell exactly with him being in the bag b/c I can't see how his fins would naturally be, but I think he could be an Orange Shoulder tang.

Jouvenile mimics have blue around the eyes and gills

That looks like a mimic to me.
I just looked at Drjungles animal world, they have a pic that looks exactly like it.

here's a few pics of orange shoulders' and mimic tangs...Orange shoulders dont always have the orange spot on their shoulder. Sometimes its faded/not showing/whatever....

I bought what the LFS said was a orange shoulder and turned out to be a mimic. Either way a great fish.
