I have a 25 watt Lifeguard that I'm resurrecting from the depths of the basement closet. Had it on a 55 gal. FO tank. Worked great!

Replacement bulb, every six months, $45.00. Replacement Quarze sleeve $40.00. I have to agree with what a lot of folks on this board are saying about UV Sterilizers. Most say you can do with out it. But the thought of undesireables getting zapped in my tank leaves this warm and cozey feeling in the pit of my gut.
