very good question :) And if it even is a coral, i want one :) too hard to tell by that small pic tho (for me anyways cuz i've never seen anything like that really)

It almost looks more like a nudibranch than a coral to me..... But it is really cool looking whatever it is.

That's because it is a nudibranch. It's Gymnodoris aurita and it feeds on dentronotid nudibranchs.

Some cool stuff. But I'd be interested to know how long some of those animals survive (ie commensal shrimps without their hosts, nudi eating nudi's, heterotrophic seafan with TINY polyps).
