I've worked with them before, seem to last, can't tell you much more than that

the ones I worked with were working for atleast 3 years, and probably still running today

current makes an excellent light and honestly for that price you can't beat it. I looked all over the net and that site has the best price. I would go for it

thanks i think i will. usually i get my stuff from premium aquatics but even they couldn't beat that price.

3 letters.....DIY.....You can save lots of money if you retrofit your own setup or something simliar. I run dual 250 w mh. No t5s but I only paid about 300 with bulbs, reflectors, ballasts, wiring, etc.

Just a suggestion to help with the cost.

did you ask PA if they would match the price? That would save you more money in shipping if they did.

Marineandreef.com is a great site. Fast deliveries and good prices. I just got a 36" PC orbit from them with no hassel.

i did not, but on marineandreef you don't pay shipping on anything over $400 and even if PA matched the $910 i still would have to drive 1.5hrs to pick it up. unless anyone has any cheaper places i think i'm going to go ahead and order from marineand reef. thanks for all your responses.

darth, how long did it take for your fixture to arrive after ordering?

I'm in NJ and I would have to say less than a week. I've ordered from them on a number of occasions and I had fast shipping on all orders. Plus, the lighting is free shipping if it's over a certain amount. Can't beat that...

however...I found this place that has cheaper prices...
Petmountain.com. Not sure about them. I did place an order for the 48" 2x250w/4x54w HQI T5 fixture for $769...that's cheaper than Marineandreef.com including their free shipping...

champ...any word on the fixture?
I ordered from petmountain.com and it took a few calls and a few days but they finally shipped it out tuesday.

oh and on the cheap note...I was looking around and look at this price...'

$699 plus $50 for shipping. That's $50 cheaper than petmountain.com. I've bought fixtures from that ebayer and they are very promt with deliveries also.
oh well... win some...lose some I guess...

P.S.
Post some shots when you get the fixture. :)
