Removing a Devils Hand

Is there a way to remove a Leather carol "Devils Hand" from a peice of rock, Can I cut it at the base and rubber band it to another rock?

Yes this can be done. Why do you need to remove it? Chipping the rock away is another option. I had to cut my devil's hand actually many years ago at the base. I had to because its stalk was dying. I rubberbanded and toothpicked it to another rock, but it took a while to reattach. This was probably due to bad lighting and water quality though-this was when I just started the hobby and was my first venture into propagation.
