What corals are PC strong enough for???????

I have a 46 gallon with 192 watts jbj pc running on it. What coral can I keep alive and well?

softies would be a good place to start- shrooms, rics, zoos, xenia, green star polyps, leathers and the like. do a search for PAR measurements- PAR is more important than watts. also how deep is your 46 that will make a difference too.

Thats what I have take a look... What else? Can I do a brain, I have a flame angel, Can I do a clam? some say all a clam needs is 4 watts per gallon, I have that!

a clam might be tough- you could try a brain but you would likely have to keep it near the top and have a back-up plan. i've always loved the zoo and ric gardens. start trading those zoos for other zoos . . .

Yeah, I know my tank will be too small for him once he gets bigger. I am planning on getting a larger tank in the next year! I am going to keep this one too. He is just a baby now. He has a great time and he is getting fat!

lol wow this brings back memories.I had the exact same amount of lights on a tank years ago. check out the pic. I kept all sorts of things very successfully. I have many of those same corals and the 2 clams to this day, though now I have halides on my tanks. Anyhow I had LPS a couple SPS right up top (you can see 2 encrusting ones up top the acros are not in this pic though) Hope this helps.

No, just good lfs. I also have a tank raised black perc in their too. I just bought the anemome a few days ago, I hope they find it soon!!!!
