Red Emperer Snappers do you have one

I had one at one point, didn't really have an appetite. He would eat a little one day then go a week without eating so he wasted away. So I did not have real good results with him.

My bro in law has one and it eats good.

I have one but I'm iffy on keeping it or not.

I'm trying for an aggressive reef hybrid setup and it may be bumped for other fish.

ATM it shares a 180 with a blue damsel, a masked rabbitfish, and a clown trigger.

I would love to have one but they get so darn big and I don't have a tank big enough.....but I love their juvi coloration! I would like to know how long they retain that coloration from those that have them.... :D

Mine is 6-8 inches and still striped but gets pinkish from time to time.

About that 5 to 6 inch range they start to lose that bright red and get a pinkish color to them
