Dimensions?
Whitout knowing that and your other fish wishes I would guess 25-35 with a 'really' good nutrient export system. But it would depend on which type(s), dimensions of tank, and how well you can remove the excess nutrients from their multiple feedings and waste everyday.
I had 8 in my 210g, but i also had a couple other fish and that worked fine.

the dimensions are 96*43*48 and i have a euroreef RC 1000 skimmer.

Nah 35 is way low. I have close to 35 fish now in my 560g of which 14 anthias + 6 tangs ranging from 3-10"+ 12 chromis +4 pajamas + assorted extra's and my tank and bioload isnt enough to keep skimmer running. I would say over 100 if they were the only fish. They really hang together and take up less space. You can look on my thread on how it looks.

WOW! My original list for my 210 started at 22 fish and has been narrowed down to 17-18 now and I fear that may be too many.

you cant use #'s it all comes down to size.type and habits of the fish you have in tank as well as what skimmer/refuge/filtration system you use.

With your filtration and space, I think that about 30 anthias would be suitable. I have 20 anthias in my 180, and they are all doing well. Thus, you could have many more than I do, but 30 seems to give you a good school. Best of luck!

what kind(s) of Anthias? :p

some species are much larger than others.....

i would go with atleast 25 anthias and then get a few big fish to keep them schooling. Sometimes they dont school if there isn't a threat or a potential threat (even if the fish can't eat them they will still fear it)

thats a big tank!
