Can I do this?

I have an ACJr. and DC 8. Currently, I have the following plugged into my DC8:

Metal Halilde Light (LT1): 2.2 Amps
Metal Halide Light (LT2): 2.2 Amps
VHO Actinics (LT3): 1.82 Amps
Return Pump (PUM): 1.9 Amps
Powerhead (PH1): 0.17 Amps
Powerhead (PH2): 0.17 Amps

I then have two Fans (power cord on each fan reads "450mA")plugged into a power strip and the power strip plugged into the 7th outlet on the DC8.

I also have two Finnex 500W heaters (each 4.5 Amps) and two Ebo heates (each 1.7 Amps) plugged into a power strip and the power strip plugged into the 8th outlet on the DC8.

Can I safely do this with the DC8?

No... 15 amp max... if everything is on you will blow the fuse...

Heaters alone draw 12.4 amps. Lights wil put you at 18.6...

That is too much through a single dc8.... get an DC4 OR a couple of expansion sockets.

Where can I get the Expansion Sockets and how would they work in my situation?

Since you have a powerstrip in the 8th outlet and are not individually controlling those items, you may want to try one of the socket expansions. They are pretty cheap and have another 15 amps worth of rating. The 2 plugs are not seperately controlled.
