I've heard varying thoughts on the sink connectors for RO. Being someone with only a few nanotanks and needing only about 20ish gallons a week, I'd prefer to make my RODI this way.
What are your thoughts on the sink adapters for RO units?

MFish,
Yesterday, I received my Ocean Reef+1 system with the faucet adapter which I ordered as an accessory. I made about 12 gallons of DI water and 2 gallons of RO water (drinking). When I was done making water, I removed the tube connected to the faucet adapter and put the system away. It works well for me.

I tried to answered this yesterday but I see it didn't register sorry. The adapters work very good I recommend the compression one as I'm always concerned the hose may pop off the spiked barb adapter.

That's ok.
Are you referring to this one on your website: http://www.thefilterguys.biz/images/ADAPTERTHREAD.JPG
Also, which model would you reccommend? My tanks [2 nano tanks] are mostly zoanthids, lps, and 2 acropora. The other tank is a coldwater anemone tank. I only use about 20 gallons a week.

That's the fitting I recommended you just remove the fitting that's on your faucet now. The two systems we sell the most of are the Ocean Wave+ and the Ocean Reef +1 both have full sized DI housings. I started with nanos also and had a system like our Ocean Wave and it serviced me very well untill I expanded to 5 tanks. I then just added some retro parts so I could make more water.
