Ive decided to make an addition to my current setup. As of now its a 110g (5ft x 2ft x 18") that i custom built (both tank and stand), with a 55g sump:

The addition will be a 44g cube tank that will share the same depth and height dimensions as the main tank, but will only be 2ft long (well, almost cube: 24x24x18'). This tank will be on its own stand and will sit to the right of the big tank. It will share the same sump as the 110, but i plan to add a mangrove refugium underneath this one (probably a 20g), which will catch the overflow of the 44g, then feed into the sump. My intentions with the new addition are to add more water volume to the system, create a refugium to grow mangroves and other beneficial organisms, as well as expand my stocking options. I will most likely stock this one with a couple aggressives!
Here's a quick sketch of the action that will unfold

Here are the first pics of many to come. This glass came off of old/half broken tanks i had laying around in my garage..so far the damage is only $30 in glass cuts!
