well, i tried the maxijet mods out and they are great, but too much flow for my tank. They are coming full assembled. They blow the sand in my tank way too much and so I am going to down grade to either the 900's or a smaller impellar. I'm just looking to get what I paid for them, I know, they are used (3 days total, but older maxijets), but you don't have to assemble, so yeah... i think that's fair. I paid 55.98 for the maxijet mods on mjmods.com and i'm pricing the maxijets at 14.50 each, so comes out to $85 firm. Oh, and they are quite too... i.e... they don't rattle, hum a little, but no rattle.

haha... well, i have about 1000 gph going through my sump, a mag 9.5 on a closed loop, and the 2 maxijet mods right now... i probably have too much flow as is without the mods. i know how people are gonna say i shouldn't be pushing that much water through a 46 gallon tank, only reason is because the water drains into my protein skimmer which runs it so there is less need for another pump. So, your seio's will just be as much flow as i have now ;P

I am being told that the maxijet is way stronger than my 2600's.

You put 2 1200MJmods in a 46g?!!!! Haha!

haha, yep, wanted to make extra sure i didn't have dead spots. i think i might have a 2 inch square of a dead spot... but the sands aready towards the back of my tank and if i move them... then the sand will start to move up the wall. my SPS love the current, frog spawn is half happy, lol. I'm also contemplating on just shaving the prop down... so it might not be for sale in a couple of mins, ;P

haha, you have no clue. I drilled my tank (5 times), have a nice close loop, huge sump, and i'm setting up my automatic water change. I also got another beagle, her names Molly :) Looking at your profile, can't believe you got a deltec.

yeah, i think i will sell one... just the one alone is still pushing sand, thinking about using crush coral, lol...

Gab... thanks. I've seen the thread. I bought 2 and have them both running since that thread started. ;)

Plus he has one he'd like to get rid of and I could use another.

Thanks for bringing it by yesterday and good meeting you. I know we're crazy.

Glad the frags look good. The green bodied acro is my favorite.

haha, thank you, i should have just spent the rest of the money on frags there, lol... and dang you got a lot of frag tanks. It was cool though because nothing slimed up and poylps were out in secs.
