I am getting ready to start another reef, this one being 90 gal. I just want to know what would be better 6x54 or 8x54. Also what would be a good choice for light combination as I like the more blue effect.
There is a local light manufacturer that posts on ebay and seems to get him materials from Catalina Aquarium. The T5 fixtures are very good in price but has anyone heard or used parts from this place or know who I am talking about. I am sure I could add IC ref and ballasts if I wanted to but the hood setup seems nice. let me know.

Thanks

8x54W would probably be too much (would also be bulbs over the entire surface...how do you feed?). Six bulbs would be plenty.

I use a 5x54W Aquactinics fixture, and I love it.

Were did you get your fixtures from? I was leaning towrads the 6x54 fixture but 5 would be nice as well. What light combo's should I do if I want a nice blue look? Did you have to upgrade anything on your aquatinics to IC or does it come with those parts?
Thanks
