what are some good corals for nano's?

Zoanthids and smaller frags of just about anything! Lighting is one of the limiting factors, but you can find smaller pieces of just about any coral.

brains, riccordia, green star polip, and candy cane / trumpets are always nice.

and you cant go wrong with Zoanthids

And some star polyps, common color is green, these were a white/silver/purple color.

great thanks. most of the soft corals i see in the shops are attached to rock and it take me ages to get them in a good position. i've got a few caves between my lr but dont want to fill them with corals. also, my pulsing xenia looks like someone's cut the stems about half way down, is this norm?? (it looks likes its been sliced downwards).
