View Full Version : What kind of Leather Corals are these??

Hello everyone! I recently recieved some live rock from a friend who was breaking down his tank. The rock has 4 or 5 leather corals on it and he had no idea what kind they were. I was just wondering if you guys could help me identify them. Here's two of them...

I think they might be what are usually called "cabbage" leather,or "Sinularia".HTH

Def cabbage leathers. My very first coral some 6 yrs ago and still growing fine.

Yep I say Sinularia dura = Cabbage Leather Hardy,Hardy,Hardy!

Definately small colonies of cabbage leathers..
