I have the typhoon III unit from airwaterice. I need to order a new bag of resin but going to the website they offer these 3 choices. What are the differences?
Thanks

Anion resin removes anions (negative charge), and cation resin removes cations. The mixed bed does both, but it is not rechargeable.

So which is the best bet to use?

Mixed bed resins or sequential cation/anion stages would work. It is simply more convenient to use the former, though, since it is combined into one cartridge, whereas the latter are usually in separate stages, IME.

Go with non color changing mixed bed. Seperate cation and anion resins are really only worthwhile if you plan on recharging resins with acid and lye.

Where do you recommend I find non color changing resin?

Any of these vendors should have it.
