I have a 37 gallon custom acrylic that I am keeping softies in. I was wondering if a 65W 50/50 PC is enough lighting for softies? If not, is 150W MH too much for it? I also am going to put a 70W 14000K MH over my 18 gallon frag tank that is right next to the 37 gallon. They are all in the same system.

I have a 250W MH pendant over my 29 gallon and the softies love it. If I were you I'd go with the 150w.

Is the PC 50/50 enough?

If your corals are doing fine, then its up to you. I have a 37 gallon also. I had 2 55W PCs and things seemed to be doing ok but added a 3rd to make things do great. I know yours is custom, but if yours is tall you'd probably want to add more.

I have a 90 with softies under four 96 watt PC's. They have been doing fine and growing four 5 years. Two 6700 and two actinic.
