250W 20K SE HELIOS users...

I just switched from Radiums to the Helios. With the Radiums they start to fall off at about 6months. Any Helios users know the life of these bulbs?.. Thanks and pics would be nice as well.

I think the lifespan is even less, Warren. I've read that they only give you 4-5 good months on an HQI ballast, whereas the Radium might get you 6.

You could also PM Eric (ecojam), as he uses both.

I now they are different, but I have the 400w SE version and it says HQI right on the box. I have been running mine since mid September and it is stool going strong. I was told that the 400w will last 12-14 months on a 8 Hr per day cycle. The 250w version might be different.

yea I run the 250W SE and I would like to see how long it lasts myself. I heard it was longer lifespan also.
