monti nudis?

I have an orange cap that has developed some die off on the lower end of it. It seems to have just started two or three days ago. basically there are some spots that are turning white and they are all on the end where crap would sit if it didnt get blown off by the flow. I dont see anything sitting where it is dying though now, and I havent seen anything since I noticed the die off. How big are the monti eating nudis? Would I be able to see them with my naked eye? If I do have them what do I do to get rid of them? Also how in the hell did I get them? I havent added any new montis to my tank since the one that is showing the die off and it was fine for 8 weeks. Can monti nudis come in on an LPS, becuase that is all I have added. Thanx for the help.

Check late at night with a flashlight, the nudi's are nocturnal

I had many of them and after I added a bunch of micro hermits they disapeared.
